Please, no children allowed at the Workshops.

willPower is your ability to create a change using the power of your mind. Grace is how you land on your feet. This sweaty, intense barefoot experience is an integration of mindful practice, muscular conditioning and cardiovascular commitment. Based upon structured functional training drills, this class is for anyone who's looking for a real physical challenge. No equipment needed

10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.- Sole Training

Credits: .2 ACE, 1.5 AFAA

"You've got 58 muscles in your feet, wake them up!" You'd be amazed what you can accomplish through footwork. Understand common foot ailments, expose yourself to historic global views of barefoot training, and learn to awaken your feet intrinsically, retraining your movement patterns. Stimulate your central nervous system in a whole new way. Learn drills for your clients: older adults to elite athletes. Sole Training is a "new approach" to balance training. 12:30-1:00 p.m. - Lunch and shopping

1:00-3:00 p.m. - Ex-tension with BOSU® Skills

Credits: .2 ACE, 1.5 AFAA

If you love the BOSU® Balance Trainer, and want new ideas to ex-tend your practice…this is the workshop for you! Learn dozens of exercises, drills, skills and activities that can be done on the BOSU® Balance Trainer in a group or personal training setting. Discover how to progress, regress and adapt each exercise to accommodate almost all fitness and skill levels with minimal equipment. Walk away with ideas that can be used next week with clients and in classes. Equipment needed: BOSU®, small weighted balls or med balls and/or dumbbells (BOSU® available to rent for $5 each)*
